Role Overview
North Devon Resort is seeking a commercially driven and highly creative Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for one of North Devon's leading holiday destinations.
This is a pivotal role focused on developing and delivering marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive bookings, maximise occupancy, and enhance the guest experience across the resort's accommodation, leisure, food and beverage, and events offering. Working closely with the senior leadership team and external marketing agency, you will take ownership of marketing planning, campaign execution, digital performance, and brand development.
The successful candidate will combine strategic marketing expertise with strong commercial awareness, acting as the key link between the resort and its marketing partners while ensuring all campaigns align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the resort's annual marketing strategy to drive bookings, occupancy, and revenue growth
Deliver integrated marketing campaigns promoting accommodation, food and beverage, leisure facilities, seasonal events, and guest experiences
Manage the relationship with the resort's external marketing agency, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve commercial objectives
Oversee website content, customer experience, and digital performance to maximise enquiries and conversions
Support SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and paid digital activity alongside agency partners
Expand the resort's digital presence across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
Coordinate photography, videography, and content creation to strengthen brand awareness and engagement
Collaborate with operational departments to identify marketing opportunities and support commercial initiatives
Monitor campaign performance, website analytics, and return on investment, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership
Manage the marketing budget and ensure effective allocation of resources across all marketing activity
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience within a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role
Strong background delivering integrated marketing campaigns within a commercial environment
Experience managing external marketing agencies and third-party suppliers
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and campaign management
Commercially focused with the ability to analyse marketing performance and optimise campaigns
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience producing marketing reports and presenting performance insights
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing reporting tools
Technical & Platform Knowledge
