Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (On-Site)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead and deliver innovative marketing activity across Saxtons, Forza Finance, and WeBuyPrestigeCar.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing automotive group recognised for its award-winning customer service, premium vehicle offering, and forward-thinking approach to automotive retail. The successful candidate will take ownership of multi-channel marketing strategy, brand development, customer engagement, and lead generation activity across multiple brands within the group.
Working closely with senior leadership and internal departments, you will play a key role in driving brand awareness, enhancing customer experience, and supporting continued business growth through data-driven marketing initiatives and high-performing campaigns.
This role is ideal for a commercially focused marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategy, creativity, performance marketing, and team leadership within a fast-paced and ambitious business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
Plan and optimise campaigns across digital, social media, email, and engagement channels
Monitor marketing performance, KPIs, and campaign effectiveness to drive continuous improvement
Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer engagement and journey optimisation
Manage marketing budgets, external agencies, and the development of the marketing team
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience within a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
Strong background delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
Experience managing brand strategy, customer engagement, and lead generation activity
Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor and interpret marketing performance data
Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external suppliers
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
Previous experience leading and developing marketing teams
Commercially minded with a results-driven approach to marketing performance
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Technical & Platform Knowledge
Digital advertising platforms
Social media marketing
Email marketing platforms
Campaign reporting and analytics tools
CRM and customer engagement systems
Marketing performance and KPI reporting
Desirable
Experience within automotive, retail, or high-value consumer sectors
Understanding of customer journey optimisation and conversion strategy
