Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Birmingham

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organise data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools

• Collaborate with team members to develop and improve data models and analytical processes

• Assist in automating data collection and reporting workflows to improve efficiency

• Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility

• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support other departments

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and/or Python

• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders

• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
