Role Overview
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Brand Manager to join the Brand Team and play a key role in shaping how the organisation engages customers across the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, this role will focus on developing and delivering compelling brand messaging, customer engagement strategies, and multi-channel brand activity that supports both commercial performance and customer experience across Barchester’s portfolio of care homes and hospitals.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multiple departments, ensuring brand consistency, delivering impactful campaigns and events, and supporting operational teams with tools and resources that help drive enquiries and engagement.
This role is ideal for an experienced brand marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong stakeholder management, campaign delivery, and customer insight expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver brand messaging and engagement strategies across multiple channels
Create customer-focused marketing materials and brand collateral across print and digital platforms
Work collaboratively with operational and digital teams to ensure brand consistency and customer journey alignment
Lead the delivery of brand events, campaigns, and engagement initiatives including the annual Barchester Care Awards
Analyse customer, demographic, and performance data to identify trends and optimisation opportunities
Manage and support a high-performing team focused on customer engagement and brand delivery
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience within a Brand Manager or brand marketing role
Strong background developing multi-channel brand messaging and customer engagement strategies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to translate customer insight and market trends into actionable marketing activity
Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously
Strong commercial awareness with a customer-focused mindset
Experience delivering high-quality brand collateral, campaigns, and events
Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and support teams effectively
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Technical & Platform Knowledge
Brand strategy and campaign management
Print and digital marketing collateral production
Customer journey and engagement optimisation
Data analysis and performance reporting
Event and project management tools
Desirable
Experience within healthcare, hospitality, or service-led sectors
Experience managing large-scale corporate or customer events
Understanding of customer acquisition and enquiry generation strategies
Experience supporting operational teams with marketing tools and resources
