Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire (Primarily Office-Based with Site Visits)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
Role Overview
Precision Builders Ltd is seeking a commercially focused Marketing Manager to take full ownership of marketing activity across the group’s residential, commercial, and energy-focused construction businesses.
This is a standalone senior role combining strategic planning with hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on SEO, local SEO, digital marketing, and lead generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high-quality inbound enquiries, improving website performance, and delivering measurable commercial growth through targeted digital activity.
Working closely with directors and operational teams, you will develop and execute a group-wide marketing strategy that strengthens brand visibility, supports business development objectives, and maximises lead conversion across multiple websites and service areas.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Business Growth
Create and implement a group-wide marketing strategy aligned to commercial objectives
Drive measurable business growth through digital marketing and lead generation activity
Align marketing initiatives with business development priorities and core service offerings
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and business expansion
Support employer branding initiatives where required
SEO & Website Performance
Lead and execute SEO and local SEO strategies across multiple websites
Build and optimise high-performing service and location-based landing pages
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning
Improve website rankings, increase qualified traffic, and maximise enquiry conversion rates
Monitor website performance and continuously improve user experience and lead capture effectiveness
Lead Generation & Campaign Management
Plan and deliver targeted digital marketing campaigns and lead generation funnels
Support email marketing activity, including nurture sequences and follow-up campaigns
Collaborate with external specialists on paid media and advertising activity where required
Develop campaigns focused on generating high-quality inbound enquiries rather than traffic alone
Content & Brand Management
Create high-quality content including case studies, service pages, and project updates
Maintain a consistent and professional tone of voice across all channels
Oversee social media direction and ensure brand consistency across the group
Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers, and external agencies as needed
Reporting & Collaboration
Track and report on SEO performance, campaign effectiveness, lead generation, and ROI
Use analytics and performance data to improve campaign results and conversion rates
Work closely with directors, project teams, and site staff to gather content and insights
Manage relationships with external marketing suppliers and specialists
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on experience delivering end-to-end digital marketing activity
Strong SEO and local SEO expertise
Demonstrable experience generating leads and enquiries through digital marketing campaigns
Experience creating and optimising website content and landing pages
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Commercially focused mindset with strong analytical and performance tracking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach
Experience using AI and automation tools to improve marketing workflows and efficiency
Desirable
Experience within construction, property, energy, or related sectors
Experience managing marketing across multiple brands or business units
Familiarity with lead generation platforms and CRM tools
Basic understanding of Google Ads, paid media, and remarketing strategies
Working Pattern
Primarily office-based in Gloucestershire
Site visits required across the group
Flexibility available for focused tasks such as content writing and technical SEO work
Candidates should be located within reasonable commuting distance for regular in-person collaboration
