Location: Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Ellesmere Port

Contract: Permanent / Full-Time

Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum

Role Overview

Lacoste is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially focused Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day operations of its Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet store.

As a globally recognised brand positioned at the intersection of fashion and sport, Lacoste is known for its timeless style, premium customer experience, and strong brand heritage. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales performance, delivering operational excellence, and creating an engaging and customer-focused retail environment.

This role is ideal for a motivated retail professional with strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences within a premium retail environment.

Working closely with the wider store team, you will help inspire performance, maintain high visual standards, and contribute to the continued success of one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the retail team

• Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Lacoste

• Support store performance through KPI management and commercial awareness

• Assist with the smooth day-to-day operational running of the store

• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation

• Support performance management and HR-related processes where required

The Successful Applicant

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a retail leadership or supervisory role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commercially aware with experience working towards sales targets and KPIs

• Passionate about customer service and premium retail environments

• Strong organisational and leadership abilities

• Ability to motivate and support team performance

• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach

• Ambitious mindset with a desire to progress within retail management

Technical & Platform Knowledge

• Retail operations and store management processes

• KPI and sales performance monitoring

• Visual merchandising standards

• Customer service and retail systems

Desirable

• Experience within fashion, lifestyle, or premium retail brands

• Experience supporting team development and coaching

• Understanding of luxury or designer outlet retail environments

• Passion for fashion, sport, and customer experience
