Sales Design Consultant

About the Role

Sharps, the UK’s leading fitted furniture company, is seeking driven Sales / Design Consultants to join its nationwide team. This is a self-employed, client-facing role where you’ll design and sell bespoke bedroom and home storage solutions directly in customers’ homes.

With a strong flow of pre-booked appointments and no cold calling, this role offers excellent earning potential for motivated sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers in their homes to design and sell fitted furniture solutions

• Conduct site surveys and create tailored room designs

• Deliver high-quality consultations and close sales effectively

• Manage appointments and maintain strong customer relationships

• Use CAD tools (where applicable) to bring designs to life

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a positive, driven attitude

• Previous sales or direct sales experience (preferred)

• Ability to close deals in a customer-facing environment

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends

• Own transport, laptop, and phone

• Full UK driving licence and vehicle insured for business use

• CAD/design experience (advantageous, training provided if needed)

• Comfortable working on a self-employed basis

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 – £100,000 OTE per year (commission-based)

• Self-employed, full-time opportunity
