E-commerce Executive (Digital Trading & Merchandising)

Introduction

Neptune, a design-led brand known for thoughtful interiors and craftsmanship, is seeking an E-commerce Executive to support and enhance its online store experience. The role focuses on delivering a seamless, visually inspiring, and commercially effective customer journey that reflects the same attention to detail found across the brand’s physical products and showrooms.

You will play a key role in shaping how products are presented online, ensuring the e-commerce site is well-merchandised, accurate, and optimised to support conversion and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise assigned product categories, focusing on merchandising, imagery, and product data accuracy

  • Support the planning and execution of online product launches, ensuring timelines and coordination are met

  • Build and maintain promotional activity in line with the wider marketing calendar

  • Update key website areas, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards

  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and engagement

  • Use merchandising and product recommendation tools to enhance discovery and increase basket value

  • Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations and resolve website issues to ensure a smooth customer experience

  • Continuously refine product content, navigation, and customer journeys with a focus on usability and intent

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an ecommerce or online trading role

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising and website performance

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify (desirable)

  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity

  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical improvements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong understanding of product content management and digital merchandising principles

  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

  • Customer-first mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve
