Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Location: Manchester M28 2LY (Hybrid – minimum 50% on-site)

Contract: Freelance / Part-Time

Salary: £15–£18 per hour

Role Overview

Scalp Solutions Ltd is seeking a proactive and versatile Digital Marketing Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the company’s digital presence across website, email, social media, and digital assets.

This role will act as the central hub between the business’s brand vision and technical execution, ensuring all digital platforms remain engaging, functional, and commercially effective. You will work closely with external developers, manage email marketing campaigns, coordinate social content, and maintain organised digital assets.

This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on digital marketer who enjoys balancing creativity, organisation, and technical coordination within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Website Liaison & Maintenance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external website developers

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical briefs for developers

  • Coordinate website improvements including bug fixes, landing pages, and UX enhancements

  • Conduct regular website audits to ensure links, imagery, and content remain accurate and functional

Email Marketing Management

  • Manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or Klaviyo

  • Build and optimise automated workflows including welcome journeys and abandoned cart sequences

  • Segment audiences to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness

  • Monitor campaign performance and identify optimisation opportunities

Social Media & Content Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day posting and engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across channels

  • Monitor trends, audience engagement, and community feedback

  • Support ongoing content planning and brand awareness activity

Digital Asset Management

  • Organise and maintain digital assets including logos, photography, videos, and brand guidelines

  • Ensure all online listings and third-party platforms display accurate and up-to-date information

  • Maintain structured and accessible digital filing systems

The Successful Applicant

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing or marketing generalist role

  • Strong understanding of website structures and ability to communicate effectively with developers

  • Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify

  • Proven experience with Mailchimp or Klaviyo email marketing platforms

  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Technical & Platform Knowledge

  • Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Google Analytics

  • Meta Business Suite

  • Email marketing platforms including Mailchimp or Klaviyo

Desirable

  • Experience within ecommerce, beauty, wellness, or healthcare sectors

  • Freelance or agency-side marketing experience

  • Experience coordinating hybrid digital campaigns across multiple channels
