Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded and analytical Data Analyst to join a fast-growing and ambitious business within the telecommunications and home services sector.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming large volumes of business data into meaningful commercial insight that supports growth, efficiency, and performance improvement across marketing, sales, and customer operations.
Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in analysing customer acquisition, retention, operational performance, and marketing activity across multiple touchpoints. You will contribute directly to business strategy by delivering actionable insights that help optimise performance and support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse sales, marketing, retention, and operational data to identify trends and growth opportunities
Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting for senior management and business stakeholders
Deliver insight into acquisition, retention, and customer engagement performance
Support efficiency analysis and data-driven decision-making across the business
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to optimise campaigns and performance activity
Use analytics and reporting tools to provide meaningful commercial recommendations
The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Data Analyst role
Strong experience using SQL database management systems
Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing and manipulating large datasets
Experience using Google Analytics, Power BI, and Azure
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially focused mindset
Technical & Platform Knowledge
SQL
Google Analytics
Power BI
Microsoft Azure
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desirable
Experience within telecommunications, utilities, or customer service-led industries
Experience within communications or high-volume sales environments
Understanding of customer acquisition and retention analytics
Commercial awareness with experience influencing business strategy through data insights
