Conference and Events Sales Manager

About the Role

Engineers House Conference Venue is looking for a driven B2B Sales Manager to lead revenue growth and maximise bookings for its premium event space. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll manage the full sales lifecycle—from initial enquiry through to event delivery.

You’ll combine strategic sales, pricing, and event coordination to ensure high occupancy, repeat business, and exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by managing key accounts and securing new business

  • Convert enquiries into bookings through proposals, calls, and site tours

  • Manage the full sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions

  • Coordinate event requirements and ensure smooth handovers to operations teams

  • Optimise venue occupancy and pricing to maximise yield

  • Track performance and deliver regular sales and financial reports

  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales within hotel, conference, or events environments

  • Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and conversion rates

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • Experience with event CRM systems (e.g. Kinetics or similar)

  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the events industry

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Confident, proactive, and solution-focused mindset

Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000 – £45,000 per year
