Introduction

Safran is a global aerospace and defence leader, and Safran Seats is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aircraft seating, with over one million seats in service worldwide. At the Cwmbran site, the business is seeking a Communication & Engagement Executive to join its Human Resources team, supporting internal communications, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

This role is central to shaping how employees experience the business, ensuring communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with Safran’s global values and culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver internal and external communications across multiple channels

  • Create engaging written and visual content for employees and stakeholders

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR communication strategies

  • Manage communication channels, including social media and internal platforms

  • Coordinate and support corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities

  • Assist with planning and delivery of internal events and engagement campaigns

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Safran Seats GB, ensuring consistent messaging

  • Work closely with HR and wider business teams to support strategic communication goals

  • Ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with corporate tone and standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal communications, external communications, or a related role

  • Strong copywriting skills with ability to tailor messaging for different audiences

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools (e.g., Hootsuite)

  • Experience using design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality content quickly

  • Confident stakeholder management skills (desirable)

  • Experience supporting events and engagement activities (desirable)
