Job Title: Website Project Manager (Interim)

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Contract: 18-month Fixed-Term Contract / Interim

Role Overview

A leading University in Central London is seeking an experienced Website Project Manager to lead a major digital transformation project. This interim role will focus on building and delivering a new website and digital brand experience from the ground up.

This is a high-impact position reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, responsible for shaping a modern, AI-enabled, student-focused digital ecosystem designed to engage a Gen Z audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end website delivery, from initial scoping through to launch

  • Implement AI-driven tools, including conversational agents and advanced search functionality

  • Integrate Salesforce CRM to enable automated and personalised user journeys

  • Shape a Gen Z-focused user experience using multimedia content (video, audio, interactive elements)

  • Coordinate across technical, marketing, academic, and senior leadership stakeholders

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks using agile methodologies

  • Monitor performance post-launch and optimise engagement, conversion, and AI effectiveness

  • Ensure alignment between digital experience, brand identity, and institutional goals

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale, complex website projects (e.g. CMS migrations, bespoke front-end builds)

  • Strong understanding of web architecture, AI applications, and modern CMS platforms

  • Experience working with LLMs or AI-driven conversational tools is highly desirable

  • Proven experience integrating websites with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation systems

  • Strong UX background with an understanding of Gen Z digital behaviour and engagement trends

  • Experience managing multimedia-rich platforms (video, audio, and social integration)

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
